Lhasa is the capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region, which is considered to be the center of politics, economy and cultural, communication as well as tourism.
Shigatse connects with three countries of Nepal, Bhutan and Sikkim in the south, it occupies an area of 176,000 square kilometers, at an altitude of 3,900 meters, is Tibet's second largest city, with a population of over 50,000.
