Day 1/Arrive in Shanghai
Arrive in Shanghai, the bustling commercial heart of China, known as "Paris of the East". Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel. (No meal)
Day 2/Shanghai
Pay a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured. Passed by the People's Square. Visit the Bund, at the west shore of the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the Jin Mao Tower can be seen on the opposite side. The splendid row of early 20th century Europe buildings remains the quintessential Shanghai sight. Then, visit fascinating Yuyuan Garden, a well-restored Suzhou-style garden, and take a walk through the Old Town filled with antique markets and specialty stores. (B)
Day 3/Shanghai-Suzhou-Shanghai
Today's highlight is to visit Suzhou. Founded in 514BC, Suzhou is known as the "Venice of the East". It was so named by early travelers because the town was built around a network of canals and 300 bridges. Pay a visit to Lion's Grove Garden which is the representative of Yuan Dynasty, and Humble Administrator's Garden is the largest private garden in Suzhou with features of Chinese classical garden in Ming Dynasty. Then, visit Suzhou Silk Museum to see how the world's most beautiful silk is produced. You will also have chance to visit the most famous water town - Zhouzhuang and enjoy a cruise on the waterway. Drive back to Shanghai in the late afternoon. (B,L)
Day 4/Depart from Shanghai
Transfer to the airport from the hotel for departure. (B)
Note: the Seat-in-coach (join-in tour) is departed from 3 stations in Shanghai as follows, and the guests need to be at the gathering station for the seat-in-coach city tour on time and go back to the hotel after city tour by yourselves.
