Day 1/Arrive in Kunming
Arrive in Kunming, meet your guide and transfer to hotel. Visit the Flowers and Birds Market. Beside flowers and birds, the market offers also traditional Chinese arts, wooden sculptures, China knots, and more. (D)

Day 2/Kunming-Stone Forest-Kunming-Jinghong
Drive to visit the Stone Forest (85 km, 1.5 h). On the way, visit a Yi minority village. After back to Kunming, stroll down the downtown walking street. Take evening flight (50 min) to Jinghong, capital city of Xishuangbanna. (B,L,D)

Day 3/Jinghong
Drive to visit Tropical Botanical Garden in Menglun (98km, 1 h 40 min). Stop at Folks Culture Village in Gan Lan Ba (43km from Jinghong) composed of five Dai villages of Man Jiang, Man Chun Man, Man Ting, Man Zha and Man Ga. (B,L,D)

Day 4/Jinghong-Kunming
Overland drive to visit Jingzhen Octagonal Pavilion (75 km, 2 hours drive from Jinghong). On the way, take stops at Dai village, Mengzhe market and Tea Plantation and Processing Factory. Xishuangbanna is one of the great tea regions of China, providing Hong Kong with most of its beloved pu'er tea, Tibet with essential tea bricks, and France with a popular and profitable tea for slimming, tuocha. The Menghai Tea Factory is the largest industrial employer in the prefecture and arrangement to visit the tea factory can be made. On the way, tea plantations are on both sides of the road. Take an evening flight back to Kunming (50 min) and transfer to hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 5/Kunming
Visit Dragon Gate on Western Hill, Yunnan Minority Museum and Golden Temple. (B,L,D)

Day 6/Depart from Kunming
Transfer to airport for the departure flight. Tour Ends. (B)
