Day 1/Arrive in Kunming
Arrive in Kunming, meet your guide and transfer to hotel. Visit the Flowers and Birds Market, (D)

Day 2/Kunming-Stone Forest
Visit the Dragon Gate on Western Hill in the morning. After lunch, drive to the Stone Forest (85 km, 1.5 h), karst limestone pillars in fantastic shapes that resemble a forest viewed from a distance. (B,L,D)

Day 3/Stone Forest-Yuanyang
Drive 300km (6 hours) to Yuanyang. En route, stops and visits of Yi and Hani villages. (B,L,D)

Day 4/Yuanyang-Jianshui
Visit the paddy fields which are terraced from the foot of the mountains onto the very top. Then, drive for 3 hours to Jianshui. Explore the Family Zhu's Garden. (B,L,D)
Tour information: The best time/season to visit Yuanyang is in winter and spring (from late November to late February), when water is filled in the paddies after harvests, a natural grandeur of thousands of mirrors are formed when the sun is low near the horizon at both ends of the day (05:00-06:30 and 17:00-18:30).

Day 5/Jianshui
Today, explore the old town of Jianshui with visits to the Chaoyang Tower, the Confucius Temple. In the afternoon, visit the Family Zhang's Garden, and the Double Dragon Bridge. (B,L,D)

Day 6/Jianshui-Shiping-Tonghai-Kunming
Overland drive 3.5 hours back to Kunming. Stop to visit Zhengying village and Xingmeng village. Zhengying has pretty good fengshui that are believed and practiced by Chinese when choosing a residence. (B,L,D)

Day 7/Depart from Kunming
Transfer to airport for the departure flight. TOUR ENDS! (B)
