Day 1/Arrive in Shanghai                                             
Arrive in Shanghai, transfer to the hotel on arrival. Visit the Bund in the evening. (D)

Day 2/Shanghai                                                                     
Pay a visit to Yuyuan Garden, Chenghuangmiao (known as Yuyuan Garden Market), Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai Museum (excluded audio guide). Roam on Nanjing Road. Enjoy a fabulous Acrobatic Show in the evening. (B,L,D)

Day 3/Shanghai                                                          
Visit the Site of the First National Congress of the CPC, where was held the First National Congress of Communist Party of China on July 23, 1921. Thirteen delegates, Mao Zedong, He Shuheng, Dong Biwu, Chen Tanglu, Wang Jinmei, Deng Enming, Li Da, Li Hanjun, Zhang Guotao, Liu Renjing, Chen Gongbo, Zhou Fohai and Bao Huiseng, attended the meeting. Then, pay a visit to Shanghai Urban Planning Museum. (B,L,D)

Day 4/Shanghai-Jinggangshan                                  
Take a morning flight to Jinggangshan, known as the birthplace of the Chinese Red Army and the "Cradle of the Chinese Revolution". Transfer to the city on arrival. Today's highlight is to visit Huangyangjie Sentry, Dajing Residence of Mao Zedong and Zhu De, and Shuikou Rainbow Waterfall. (B,L,D) 

Day 5/Jinggangshan-Nanchang                                     
Visit the New Jinggangshan Revolution Museum, the Former Residence of Mao Zedong at Ciping, also called "Former Residence of the Front Committee of Jinggangshan Party Branch". From October 1927 to January 1929, Mao Zedong had resided in the right rear room of the house and worked there. Two flights of stone stairs lead you to the Revolutionary Martyr Cemetery which is halfway up Beishan Hill. In the afternoon, drive to Nanchang. (B,L,D)

Day 6/Nanchang-Xi'an                                                    
After breakfast, pay a visit to Tengwang Pavilion, located on the bank of the Yangtze River, one of the three famous pavilions south of the Yangtze River (the other two are Yueyang Tower in Yueyang and Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan). Then, pay a visit Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall (if it is open). Take an afternoon flight to Xi'an. (B,L,D)

Day 7/Xi'an                                                                       
Visit the extraordinary Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Banpo Village, a typical Neolithic clan-based community of the Yangshao Culture dating back about 6,000 years. (B,L,D)

Day 8/Xi'an-Yan'an                                                          
Visit Shannxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Great Mosque. Climb up the Great Wall. Have a characteristic Dumpling Dinner in local restaurant. Take an overnight train to Yan'an (train schedule for reference or the similar train: N375: 22:00-05:23+1). (B,L,D)

Day 9/Yan'an                                                                   
Arrive in Yan'an in the morning, a revolutionary holy place in China, holding a prominent place in Chinese military history. Pick up from the railway station and have a breakfast. Begin today's highlight includes Baotashan Mountain, Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial and Yangjialing Residence. (B,L,D)

Day10/Yan'an-Beijing                                                     
Today's highlight is to visit Zaoyuan Residence, the seat of Secretary Department of CPC Central Committee. The former residence of Mao Zedong is at the northwest with the residence of Zhang Wentian on its left, and that of Zhu De on its right. In August 1945, Mao Zedong flew to Chongqing from here, and had a peace talk with Guomintang. Take an overnight train to Beijing (train schedule for reference or the similar train: T44: 15:34-07:28+1). (B,L,D)

Day11/Beijing                                                                  
Arrive in Beijing, transfer to the hotel for breakfast (no guarantee of the early check-in). Visit Tian'anmen Square and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum (only open in the morning from Tuesday to Sunday, close on Monday). Move on to visit the Imperial Palace, well-known as Forbidden City. In the afternoon, visit Temple of Heaven. (B,L,D)

Day12/Beijing                                                                  
Today's highlight is the visit to the Great Wall (Juyongguan Section), and Ming Tombs (the statue-lined Spirit Road, Changling Tomb).  On the back way, stop at Olympic Park, view the Bird Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (National Natatorium) from outside. (B,L,D)

Day13/Beijing                                                                 
Visit the enchanting Summer Palace, Beijing Zoo (Panda Hall) for the roly-poly panda. In the afternoon, you will visit the Yonghe Lama Temple. Enjoy Peking Duck for dinner. (B,L,D)

Day14/Depart from Beijing                                              
Transfer to the airport, and prepare for boarding on your homebound flight. TOUR END! (B)
