Luggage for passengers on domestic Chinese flight:
a) Carry-on luggage:
Passengers traveling first class who hold adult or child tickets are permitted to carry on two pieces of hand baggage. For business or economy class passengers, only one piece of carry on baggage is allowed. Your hand baggage should be less than five kilograms (about 11 pounds) in total and any piece must have dimensions no larger than 20¡Á40¡Á55 centimeters (8¡Á16¡Á22 inches). Any items that exceed these criteria are treated as checked luggage.

b) Overweight luggage:
If your luggages are overweight, the excess amount will incur an additional charge reckoned by distance and weight: Generally, 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) costs 1.5% of a full economy-class airfare (one way, adult ticket).

c) Prohibited Items: The following items are prohibited and cannot be carried in checked or carry on luggage: Flammable, explosive, corrosive, poisonous, radioactive, and magnetized materials. Passengers are forbidden to carry arms, sharp or lethal weapons during flight.

Do not pack anything fragile, valuable, or perishable in the luggage that you intend to check.
Valuables of any kind--money, jewelry, important documents, prescription drugs--as well as matches or cigarette lighters should be placed in your carry-on luggage. Leave all expensive jewelry and furs at home in safe storage--and enjoy peace of mind in your travels.

If you can not find your luggage, first of all make sure that the missing item was not misplaced. In case your luggage is really lost or stolen, ask your guide for help, if serious, report immediately to the police. Yangtze Cruises, Inc is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to your baggage, so better to take care of the luggage when taking the cruise. Insurance is strongly recommended. Airlines have baggage restrictions and you should check with the air carrier prior to your flight.
