The government stipulates a five-day workweek that spans Monday to Friday. Normal working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, with an hour lunch break.

Most shops are usually open at 9:00am-9:30am and close at 8:30pm-9:30pm.

Almost all government offices, institutions, school, and other official units do not work on Saturday and Sunday.
