Anshun brief
Anshun is a city in southwestern Guizhou Province where the famous Huangguoshu Waterfall locates. Many beautiful mountains and rivers decorate the land. Huangguoshu Waterfall: Huangguoshu Waterfall, 45km southwest of Anshun City, is one of the largest waterfall in China and Asia. Huanguoshu is the best known of the some 18 in a cluster of waterfalls. The main waterfall is 67m high and 83.3m wide. There is a 134m long naturally formed cave located in the back of the waterfall, which is called Water-Curtain Cave. Standing inside Water-Viewing Pavilion beside the Rhinoceros Pool (Xiniu Tan), the guests will enjoy the flowing-down of the waterfall. Huangguoshu Waterfall is one of few waterfalls that can be viewed from above, below, front, back, left and right in the world.
Dragon Palace Cave Scenic Spot: Dragon Palace Cave Scenic Spot, located in the western suburb of Anshun, is a magnificent underground cave system which forms a huge network through 20 hills and is featured in-cave waterfall, stalactite, stalagmite, stone forest and other Karst landscape. Because the main cave looks like the crystal palace where the dragon king lives, it is known as Dragon Palace Cave. The main scenic areas contains the Rape Lake, Whirl pool, Flower Valley and Dragon Palace itself. Tourist can enter Longgong Cave by rowboat at Tianchi (Heavenly Lake) located in front of the cave, and then drifting through the caverns. The scenery varies while the rowboat goes deeper.
